VENTILATION UNIT

The model MAC-21D (P/N FM41) is an adaptation of our model
MAC-21 (P/N FM37) 500 CFM HEPA unit.  This unit gives up some of the "modular features" in favor of a design assembled from explosion-proof components.  The MAC-21D features an explosion proof motor and starter with a spark proof blower design (Class I Zone 2, AEx d nA IIA T3C [US] / Ex d nA IIA T3C [Canada]).  Unlike the standard MAC-21, the blower/motor is not removable from the unit cart, and the flex hose inlet is not reconfigurable.

This unit has been evaluated to the applicable CSA standards for use in the United States under product Class 3812-81 (Fans and Blowers) and Canada under product Class 3812-01 (Fans and Blowers).
