These glove boxes are installed in a two room Perma-Con®. They both extend from one room to the other. Drum ports are incorporated in the end and the bottom of this hood system. These hoods have fluorescent lights mounted outside of the hood, pass boxes, large hinged doors and a track mounted tray for movement of material from one end to the other. |

This is a full AG-1 compliant glove box. A drum lifter is incorporated at the end of the hood to introduce a drum of contaminated material into the glove box. The drum is bagged to the glove box maintaining a sealed environment. Drums are also positioned under the drum rings in the hood and sealed. HEPA air filters are the cylindrical push-thru type making filter change a sealed operation. |
